The MVT will occasionally require updates, including for newly supported technologies and processes.
- Updates are completed over-the-air and require a high-speed wireless internet connection.
- The Software Update app allows the user to complete software updates manually
- The MVT also supports Unattended Overnight Over-the-Air Updates
- The unit must be plugged in, charging and powered on
- At 2am local time the unit will check-in with the Midtronics BMIS server to determine if any updates are available
- The update will occur automatically and will complete unless there is an interruption to Wi-Fi
- The MVT will also send any unsent test records at this time
- If interrupted, the update will attempt to complete the next night at 2am local time or it can be completed manually
